Donna R. Clark, founder/ president of label me. productions, is a recent honors graduate of the University of South Carolina. She is an award winning filmmaker/ screenwriter and a published photographer. A few of her projects have been officially selected into film festivals, the most significant ones were officially selected into Argentina, New York, and the Big Damn Film (Indianapolis, Indiana) festivals. In addition, she has worked on a few documentaries with South Carolina Educational Television where she earned valuable & insightful knowledge within the video production world.

Behind the label

label me. productions technically was R&C Productions, the first letters of the original founder's last names (Richey and Clark). R&C Productions produced experimental films, high school projects, sketch comedies, and commercials, all shot with a low quality consumer camcorder. We also wrote countless numbers of plots for movie and television show ideas. We were thirteen years old, and these productions continued throughout our high school years then....nothing: NAVY, technical school, then college. We both went our separate ways; however, I still had to follow my main passion.

Now, that I was alone, I needed a name that was original and creative, and something that was interactive at the same time. label me. productions!

a deeper perspective

Why courier font? For those who don't know this: if you've ever read a screenplay, you'd notice the font is written in...this! There's something that coexists with screenplays and the name label me. productions. A little more history and fact for you: courier font (the font of the good 'ole typewriters back in the day before computers) is faster and easier to read, no serifs to stumble over.

In a nutshell,screenplays are the beginning concepts of a movie, etc. much like....

label me. productions is the concept of something new, and this = creativity.

label me. productions is about YOU. SIMPLE! Advertisers are now in the age of getting to better understand the consumers and audiences of a particular service or product, instead of forcing more clutter such as numerous and needless advertisements their way. (and that was an expensive way to advertise!) Knowing this fact is only the first step for not only marketing agencies to consider, but all companies! label me. productions is not an advertising company, even though it does produce commercials and graphic arts which are a form of advertisment.

Because of the impact of reality television, label me. productions has a couple of projects in the works to provide services for aspiring artists.
